On Free Speech : Opinionated Krew


The University of Hawaii is a Land Grant College. It was founded on Federal lands ceded to the State of Hawaii through Federal legislation.

That legislation being the Morrill Act of 1862, which was signed into law by Abraham Lincoln.


The University of Hawaii is a public college, run by the State of Hawaii.
Students are now suing the University of Hawaii for prohibiting their free speech when they attempted to hand out the United States Constitution.
Apparently the University of Hawaii has a “free speech zone.”
It is my contention that the entire country, except private property is a “Free Speech Zone.”

Certainly a state institution is public land in any case, and subject to the jurisdiction of the State and Federal law.
I am pretty sure they will win, as the University of Hawaii is a state actor that is restricting their free speech, at a public…
